Hello to Robert E Lee

Being the indoor cat-type creature I am, I've been watching a lot of movies lately.
Now, this posting would make more sense if I could remember any of the movie titles, but the titles aren't the subject of this posting anyways, it's the length, timewise, of the movies I'd like to discuss.

Now, back when I was much younger, movies that ran less than 2 hours were generally frowned on; because you weren't getting 120 minutes of entertainment, many people felt that the ticket price should be lower that the regular; that the cost of the movie should be prorated or something.

Now, the last few movies I have watched have been 89 minutes in length or less.

That really sucks.
I'd like more than 89 minutes for my hard earned DVD buying power money, or movie rental dough.
Wouldn't you?

Who is going to stand up for our movie length rights?
Should we just start to protest against the 89 minute or shorter movie?

Who's with me??
